James Anderson WILEY was born 8 Oct 1838 in Noble County, Ohio. In 1853, his family moved to Prole, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Allen 22 Oct 1857 in Prole. James served in the Civil War. He was a Private, Company H, 34th Infantry Regiment Iowa. He received a disability discharge in March 1863. In 1868, the family moved to Nodaway County Missouri; 130 miles southwest of Prole.

William Francis Wiley was born 18 Aug 1858 in Prole, Warren, Iowa. By 1870, the family had moved to Nodaway County, MO. On 5 Dec 1879, he married Jessie Lavina Cameron. They had three kids: Anson Elvin (1884), Nellie Theo (1892) and Lou Ida (1897). Jessie died 31 Dec 1909 in Graham, MO.

Katherine Kludas was born 27 Feb 1885 in Stralau, Berlin, Germany. Stralau is a community within the city limits of Berlin. Her given name was Cathe Bertha Emilie Kludas. She likely changed it to Katherine when she came to America. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1903. She was 18 years old. She lived in Graham, MO with Frank and Marie(Kludas) Hamm. Marie was her aunt. Marie had come to the U.S. in 1868, with her brother Herman, who also lived in Nodaway County. Katherine was a teacher in the community.
After William died, she and her daughters moved to St Louis. In 1940, she lived at 6031 Juniata. Katherine died 15 May 1965. At the time, she lived with Dotty at 709 Nirk, in Kirkwood.
